World Cup Victory

Back in 2006, my best buddy Kyle and I took a trip to Germany to watch the last few matches World Cup – something we’d been dreaming of doing since childhood. We arrived late at night and had tickets to a match the next day. After waiting at the luggage belt for about 20 minutes (long after Kyle and everyone else had grabbed their bags), we decided my bag might be lost and called ASSIST-CARD.

The moment we called, the operator immediately started the process of tracking down my luggage. In the meantime, I got a voucher to pay for the basic things I would need that night. I went to bed hoping and praying they found my bag. So many irreplaceable things were in it. (Mainly my lucky jersey, my favorite hat and the rest of my game day wardrobe!)

Well, not only did ASSIST-CARD find my luggage (turns out it was spinning around the belt in NYC, were we had our connecting flight), but they delivered it to our hotel the very next morning. What a lifesaver! Just in time to throw on my gear and head to the stadium. Thank you ASSIST-CARD!
