Assist-Card Launches New Websites

Release Date: 1/1/2010

ASSIST-CARD, the largest travelers assistance network in the world that offers extensive assistance and travel insurance, has launched new agent and consumer websites. According to Keith St. Clair, Managing Director for ASSIST-CARD, “These newly enhanced websites will allow the user to get a quote, book a policy and receive a confirmation in less than 1 minute.” For the first time in the company’s nearly 40-year history, ASSIST-CARD began sales within the U.S. in the last quarter of 2009. Its exclusive cashless medical benefits, which allow policyholders to receive up to $250,000 in full primary care without fronting monies to doctors or hospitals or filling out claims forms, is one of the key elements that has allowed ASSIST-CARD to explode on to the US market.

“Our primary focus coming into the U.S. has been on the agency community. We set up our sales operation in South Florida, a mecca for travel professionals. We are the presenting SPONSOR of the Miami Heat which allows us to continuously host agents in a luxury suite at NBA games and arena events. And now, we are able to offer the best travel assistance and insurance coverage in the industry through the easiest booking platform available,” said Jason Schreier, director of sales of ASSIST-CARD.

The website allows agency clients to purchase travel insurance themselves online while the agency still receives the commission. Other new agent-oriented enhancements to follow include the ability to prepare and email a quote while again retaining commission if the client books on their own, to place commission generating banners on their own website, and to book Cancel For Any Reason coverage.

ASSIST-CARD’s U.S. website can be found at www.assist-cardusa.com. Agencies interested in selling ASSIST-CARD can sign up online at www.assist-cardusa.com/agent.aspx or by calling (877) 369-2774.
